Our History

Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry was founded on June 20th, 2009, by Prophet Olushola Emmanuel Opaleye, with just 13 dedicated members in attendance. What began as a humble gathering of passionate believers has grown, by the grace of God, into a thriving ministry reaching across Nigeria and beyond.

Driven by a divine mandate, our vision has remained unwavering: to subdue the darkness that covers the body of Christ and to raise an end-time army for end-time revival.

Over the years, the ministry has become a beacon of spiritual awakening, intercession, and prophetic empowerment, touching lives, transforming communities, and equipping believers to stand boldly in these critical times.

From that small beginning, God has continued to multiply His work through us, positioning the Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry as a vessel of light, hope, and revival in a world in desperate need of truth and restoration.

Touch of the Great Physician

A monthly programme divinely ordained for healing, deliverance, and restoration. 1st Saturday of every month. Time: 6am

Prophetic Midnight

Held at the midnight hour on Mondays for intense prophetic prayers, divine revelations, and spiritual warfare. Venue: Facebook | Time: 12:00am

A weekly power-packed prayer programme where stubborn problems and afflictions are commanded to vanish by the authority of Christ!
