Who We Are
Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry was founded on June 20th, 2009, by Prophet Olushola Emmanuel Opaleye, with just 13 dedicated members in attendance. What began as a humble gathering of passionate believers has grown, by the grace of God, into a thriving ministry reaching across Nigeria and beyond.
Driven by a divine mandate, our vision has remained unwavering: to subdue the darkness that covers the body of Christ and to raise an end-time army for end-time revival.
Over the years, the ministry has become a beacon of spiritual awakening, intercession, and prophetic empowerment, touching lives, transforming communities, and equipping believers to stand boldly in these critical times.
From that small beginning, God has continued to multiply His work through us, positioning the Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry as a vessel of light, hope, and revival in a world in desperate need of truth and restoration.

Prophet Olushola Emmanuel Opaleye is the founder and General Overseer of Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry. A man called and anointed by God, he has passionately committed his life to intercession, deliverance, and the end-time revival. Since the inception of the ministry in 2009 with just 13 members, Prophet Opaleye has led with unwavering faith, visionary leadership, and a deep burden to see the power of God manifest in every believer’s life.
By his side is his beloved wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Oluwakemi Peculiar Opaleye, a woman of grace, wisdom, and spiritual strength. Together, they form a dynamic team devoted to prayer, teaching, and empowering the body of Christ. She plays a vital role in women’s ministry, counseling, and nurturing the spiritual growth of members, especially the younger generation.
Their shared passion for God’s work has made them spiritual parents to many and vessels through whom God is transforming lives locally and internationally. They continue to lead by example—walking in humility, holiness, and love.

Our Mission
Great Intercessory Prayer Ministry (GIPM) is a divinely ordained ministry called by the Author and Finisher of our faith to bring healing to the body of Christ and to raise a Spirit-filled End-Time Army for the revival of the Church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Our Vision
Our vision is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to all nations, raising a Spirit-empowered end-time army committed to delivering souls from satanic bondage and advancing the Kingdom of God across the earth.
